MONOLITHIC CERAMIC TABLE TOPS |
Ceramic table tops are used in chemical, physical and chemical, microbiological, and bacteriological laboratories when aggressive substances are analysed. They are fully resistant to organic solvents, concentrated acids and bases, and other aggressive substances (except concentrated hydrofluoric acid). Thanks to the firing process occurring in furnaces, the tops are highly resistant to high temperatures. The tops can be used in the places exposed to the frequent risk of moisture and flooding (washing workstations, etc), their absorbability level being practically zero. They are highly resistant to mechanical damage, scratches, dirt and stains, a feature that makes them perfect for dyeing workstations. Plates of large areas (up to 1800x900mm) make it possible to minimise the use of chemical-resistant joints, which are less resistant than the table top. Technical parameters: solid ceramal, fired and glazed in a long process at 1230°C Available thicknesses of the tops:
The tops are self-supporting structures, since they do not require any additional base plates. All table top rims for daily use are glazed and aesthetically rounded. |
